Interpreters of the Rockies
Promoting Language Justice

We are committed to promoting Language Justice in our community.  I was raised bilingual and have lived in many countries, but the mountains and rural areas of Colorado mean a lot to me because this is where I live.    Traditionally underserved, I founded Interpreters of the Rockies precisely to support our non-English speaking community members.

Since 2023, our team has been making an impact in the community as well as the legal and medical fields.  We provide interpretation, translation and consulting services in Colorado and nationwide.

Please reach out if you need our services and empower others to speak in the language of their hearts.

My Story

Leticia comes from a lineage of interpreters, tracing back to her family’s role as Spanish-Nahuatl translators during the Spanish conquest. Born and raised in Mexico, her parents (both educators) invested in her linguistic education, leading her to become fluent in English and German.

Leticia’s professional journey includes:

  • First interpreting role for Volkswagen's Board of Directors.

  • Former ESL university instructor in Mexico.

  • International Relations team member at the Law Society of England and Wales.

  • BA (Hons.) in Political Science & History from Kingston University (UK).

  • CIM Certificate in Marketing, graduated top of her class.

  • Founder of Interpreters of the Rockies, merging her passion for languages with social impact through Language Justice initiatives.
